Jazz enthusiasts from across the north-east were given a rare treat on Saturday, with a selection of music from the Atholl Smith Jazz Band.
Visitors to the historic property braved the inclement weather to make it to the event, which was held in a marquee in the garden.
Property manager Susan Burgess told the Times: “It was another wonderful night of jazz music at Pitmedden Garden! Not even rain could dampen the spirits. 150 jazz enthusiasts filled the marquee, and there was a great atmosphere. The event actually ran over slightly, as the audience wouldn’t let the band leave!
“We definitely have plans to have another one, sometime soon. The turnout proves that there’s a clear demand for it.”
