ELLON’S senior citizens proved that age is no barrier to a good time, with their annual party on Thursday.
59 seniors turned out for the event at the town’s Station Hotel, donning their festive best for a night of music, fine food and drink.
Secretary Greta McIntosh told the Times: “We were very impressed with the turnout, and everybody enjoyed themselves.
“It went very well - we had a selection of music from Davie Forbes, dancing, and party games. We also had an elimination waltz, and the meal beforehand which was absolutely lovely.
“All in all I think everybody had good time, and we will be doing it again next year.”
