Tea party raises EVE appeal cash

Organisers of a recent tea party in aid of the EVE appeal have offered their thanks to all who supported the event.

The Tea Party, held at Rothienorman’s Greenview Centre, raised over £1,150 on the day - a figure which organisers say they anticipate will rise as a result of late donations and Gift Aid.

The EVE appeal was established to raise awareness of rare gynaecological cancers and to provide funding for medical research.

An organiser said: “We would like to thank everyone for their support in raising this wonderful amount of money which will be used by The Eve Appeal to raise awareness of Gynaecology Cancers through their Research Fund.”
