Tipperty kids go bananas for charity!

PUPILS at Tipperty Primary were on fine form last Friday, as the school organised a yellow themed day in aid of cancer research.

Pupils wore yellow clothes or accessories, making a donation of at least £1 each to World Cancer Research. They then took part in a range of activities centred around the utility of the humble banana, including cookery lessons. School Health group spokesman Malcolm Cowie told the Times: “We held a similar day one year ago, and it was a great success, so we thought that we would hold another.”
