Traffic management on the A90 at Balmedie will be reconfigured on Friday evening to allow AWPR works to progress at the Balmedie Junction.
The change to the road layout is expected to take place between 8pm on Friday, July 28 and 6am on Monday, July 31 using a series of lane closures and lane openings.
After these changes are complete, the temporary diversion will be to the east of the current alignment, and two lanes of traffic will be provided in both the northbound and southbound directions.
The changes are being made to enable the contractor to construct and complete the second half of the Balmedie Underpass.
A Transport Scotland spokesperson said: “We would like to suggest to road users that they plan ahead and give themselves some additional travelling time so they can reach their destination safely and on time while these changes to the road layout are being implemented.
“Also, as with any change to road layout, we strongly encourage road users to drive with more caution than usual. We would also kindly request that drivers observe all of the signage in place to enhance the safety of road users and road workers.
“We thank road users and the local community for their on-going support and patience during the construction works.”
