An updated guide to the public transport services across the north-east of Scotland has been released this week both online and in paper form.
The Aberdeenshire and Moray Public Transport Guide has been produced by Aberdeenshire Council’s public transport unit in partnership with Stagecoach Bluebird and The Moray Council.
The guide maps the whole transport network across Aberdeenshire and Moray, including details of places of interest, locations of rail stations and local bus services, and features individual town maps for a number of the main settlements across Aberdeenshire and Moray.
Chairman of Aberdeenshire Council’s Infrastructure Services Committee, Cllr Peter Argyle, said: “This guide is a handy tool for anybody looking to visit the area or planning a journey that may involve a number of transport options.”
Committee vice-chair Cllr Jill Webster added: “The online version of the guide makes it easy for the maps to be viewed at a high resolution, making it even more accessible.”
Free copies of the Winter 2011/12 guide are available from local council offices and bus stations, by contacting Aberdeenshire Council on (01224) 664586 or emailing: firstname.lastname@example.org
