Ellon couple John and Caroline Doherty have raised over £2,000 from sales of their hand-made Christmas wreaths.

The couple, who lost their son to cancer ten years ago aged just 39, made the wreaths at home and sold them at local events, bringing their total to £2165.50.

John and Caroline are pictured above presenting the money to Kathleen Chalmers of the Peterhead Relay for Life and Fiona Harvey, senior local fundraising manager for Cancer Research UK.
