The Met Office has issued a yellow warning of ice for Aberdeenshire, Aberdeen and Moray areas.

A widespread frost is expected over the northern half of Scotland on Monday night while further south, and over the far north of northern England, outbreaks of sleet and snow on higher parts will leave some wet surfaces. With ground temperatures expected to fall below freezing icy stretches are expected to form in places.

Please be aware of the potential for some difficult driving conditions.
