Talented young dancers in the Ellon area are busy rehearsing for a concert which, they hope, will raise hundreds of pounds for a very good cause.

Dancers from the Rosaline Hendry School of Dance are planning a ‘Music and Dance Show’ to take place in March, with proceeds from ticket sales going towards the construction of a Maggie’s Cancer Centre in Aberdeen.

Teacher Rosaline Hendry told the Times: “We’re going to be putting on a particularly big show this year, and we’re looking to raise as much as possible.”

The event will take place between 7.30 and 9pm in Ellon Academy on March 5, and admission costs £6 for adults, £4 for primary school chidlren. Tickets are available from the Kirk Centre Coffee Shop, and the Ice Cream and Coffee Pot, or from any member of the dance school.
