Busy winter for cycling coaches

With numbers growing in Ythan Cycling Club’s youth section, Ythan QL, coaches face a busy winter as they continue to develop the current crop of young cyclists.

Motivation will not be an issue with the performances of Zak Loney and Craig Ward and the achievements of senior club members Fachie, Turnham and Duncan at the Paralympics giving all sections of the club a fantastic finish to their 25th anniversary year.

The QL section continues to set the standard for North-east youth development and the positive sight on Saturday mornings in Ellon of so many youngsters enjoying safe cycling under the British Cycling Go Ride structure is one that should reap numerous future benefits for the club and the community.
