The Cameroon Olympic Women’s Football team will take on Northern Ireland in a friendly match at Turriff on Sunday (July 8) with a 3pm kick-off.
The squad is using Aberdeen city and shire as a training base ahead of the London Olympics.
Aberdeenshire Council joined forces with Turriff United, Aberdeen Sports Village and RGU:SPORT to arrange for the Northern Ireland team to travel to play the international match as part of the Cameroon training schedule.
It is the first time that Turriff United has hosted an international match at The Haughs and football fans in the region are being encouraged to turn out to support the game.
Tickets for the match are available at the gate on the day, priced at £5 for adults, and £2 for children and senior citizens.
