Colony Park weekend round-up

Colony Park U17s faced Culter in the Raymond Kelly Association Cup.

Dale RENNIE put Colony ahead on 10 minutes, a lead that Colony held at half-time. RENNIE scored a second to settle Colony and GILL and WOODGREAVES added two more to end the
match 4-0.

Colony Park U16s were away to league champions Fraserburgh, and an even first half found the match goalless at half-time.

Fraserburgh started the second half the
stronger netting two goals in 15 minutes. COOPER pulled one back for Colony, but despite chances they couldn’t add a second. Fraserburgh broke late to add a third and sealed the game 4-1 with another with five
minutes to go.

Colony Park U14s were at home to Banchory and made the worst possible start, going behind after 20 seconds.

FRASER levelled for Colony before STRACHAN gave them the lead. Keeper Middler kept Colony in front with some fantastic saves as the first half ended. LAWRENCE added a third for Colony in the second half and despite Banchory pressure, they held on for the win.

Colony Colts U14s faced Kingseat at Denmore. Kingseat took the lead, but the Colts rallied and restricted Kingseat
to a single goal at
the break.

Kingseat scored twice in the second half and despite some excellent football by Colony, hung on to win 3-0

Colony Park U13s were in third round action in the SYFA Cup at Culter United and they progressed to the fourth round thanks to a William HUTCHISON hat trick and goals from Adam HARPER and Connor KILLOH in a 5-1 victory over their
local rivals.

Colony Colts U13s had an encouraging defeat
despite losing to Cove at Davidson Park. Shane McKAY got all three Colts goals in a 5-3 defeat but a special mention has to go to his strike partner
Taylor Masson who set
up all the goals in his
hat trick.
