Locos Co-manager Kenny Coull was full of praise about the win and the manner of victory.

He said, “We were very ruthless, the guys did their job. Jordan Leyden grabbed two goals and could have had more, and when you see Martin Bavidge and Neil Gauld holding the ball up so well it gives a team confidence. “In the past fortnight we’ve held three goal half time leads against Fort William and Keith but not added in the second half. You have to churn out wins at times that are not pretty but we knew we couldn’t afford that type of performance against Nairn. Scott Buchan and myself were delighted the players prepared well from the first whistle and performed as a squad.

“Having come through this test with flying colours, it is great to get another home draw but, we knew whichever team we were paired with, they will not want play Locos in this form.”
