Colony Park FC have secured funding from Dandara to supply its Under-14 boys’ team with training tracksuits, giving the side a boost as it progresses in league and cup competitions across the North-east.

The Dandara-sponsored sportswear will be used as club uniform for training sessions at Garioch Sports Centre, and when travelling to away games.

Shaun Campbell, Colony Park’s chairman, said: “We ask each team to fundraise to help cover the ever-increasing costs of providing the facilities and equipment necessary to allow our members the opportunity to enjoy playing sport.

“Dandara is a national housebuilder with a great reputation for quality and we are extremely grateful for their support in sponsoring our U14 Colony Park boys’ team. The lads are working hard as a group and have had a great start to the season. They are well placed at the half way point in both the league and cup competitions.”

Colony Park has invested significantly in coaching training and has received The Quality Mark Award from the Scottish Football Association, in recognition of the club’s commitment to increasing youth and community participation in sport.

Gillian Roberts, head of sales for Dandara in Aberdeen said: “We have a great passion for sport in the community and we are thrilled to offer our support to the club. We wish the Colony Park under 14s the very best of luck this season.”
