Award-winning Ellon-based financial adviser Phil Anderson got his hands on another trophy at the recent Stand Free Youth Development dinner at the Hilton
Treetops in Aberdeen.

Mr Anderson and his guests from Ellon were among those who attended the annual event to raise funds for youth development
at Pittodrie.

And a highlight for the Ellon group was holding the League Cup, which was on display at the dinner.

The event raised £25,000 on the night and the star auction item, which was donated by Phil Anderson Financial Services, went for a massive £2,000.

Mr Anderson donated limited edition Aberdeen and Inverness Caledonian Thistle signed and framed shirts which helped
boost the total raised on
the night.

He said: “It was a very enjoyable night and I was over the moon that the signed shirts went for such a
high amount.

“We also donated signed boxing trunks to Ellon United for their dinner on the same evening and they went for £450.

“It was just a shame that both events were held on the same night. We are delighted to support the youth development at Aberdeen Football Club as well as supporting our local team
here in Ellon.

“The highlight of the night was getting our hands on the Scottish League Cup and it turned out to be a very special and
memorable occasion.”
