Formartine handed tough cup draw

Formartine United face a tough test in the Breedon Aggregates Highland League Cup.

United have been drawn at home to in-form Nairn County in the preliminary round of the competition.

The tie will be played on Saturday, March 1. The winners will be at home to Turriff United on Saturday, March 15.

The draw was made at Inverurie Locos’ Harlaw Park last Thursday.

Locos head to Grantown-on-Spey to face Strathspey Thistle.
