Games off

The snow and ice have claimed three fixtures so far in this weekend’s Highland League card.

Formartine United’s match against Cove Rangers at North Lodge Park was called off due to a snow-covered pitch.

It is further blow to the Pitmedden side, who have managed just 13 league games so far this season.

Other games postponed this weekend are Keith against Buckie Thistle and Turriff United against Huntly. Both matches have fallen victim to snow-covered surfaces.

Meanwhile, Formartine’s league clash at Turriff, called off on December 8, has been re-scheduled for Tuesday, February 5. On Saturday, March 2, Formartine will travel to the same venue for a first round tie in the Breedon Aggregates Highland League Cup.
