A touch of Spring in the air at Lochter

Temperatures at Lochter Fishery have been rising compared to recent conditions.

This was in evidence at the weekend when Brian Ross and Rod Palmer had 14 between them, all caught on black Buzzers.

Earlier in the week Allan Logan netted seven, including four around the 3.5 to 4lb mark, using small Nymphs and Peter Young accumulated a bag of 17 by using lures in the morning, switching to Buzzers in the middle of the day when things warmed up, then going back to lures when the afternoon cooled down.

Other flies have had their moments and Ron Mead used Cormorants and Bloodworms to account for nine and S Sim had a good session with six on an Okey-Dokey.
