ELLON Gordon lost their third match in a row to hover one place above the bottom place in Grades 1 after a four wicket defeat by Aberdeen GSFP at Rubislaw.
Ellon batted first, but failed to impress, relying on Brian Veldman to top score with a valiant 38 and a gutsy unbeaten 23 from veteran Andy Parks, as they lurched to 120 for the loss of nine wickets.
The Gordon Park side made Grammar fight all the way before having to concede second best, as the home side reached its target with four wickets to spare.
