A darts exhibition night in Kemnay in support of flood victims has raised more than £12,500.

The event was organised in the village hall recently by local man Graham Watson.

He invited Huntly’s “The Highlander” John Henderson, Scottish captain Ross “The Boss” Montgomery and Aberdeen player and current Scottish Masters champion “Wheeler” Craig Robertson to play against local people throughout the evening and raise as much money as possible for flood-hit families in the area.

At half-time there was a raffle draw and auction which raised a large sum of money.

Graham has thanked everyone who supported the event. He has since presented a cheque to Murray Skinner, treasurer of Inverurie and District Round Table.
