Six Garioch Girls fly

Six Garioch Elite Gymnasts travelled to Stoke on
Saturday and Sunday, May 9 and 10, for the British
NDP Finals.

The girls took part in the qualification competition back in April with Garioch having huge success.

The Club are proud to say they had the largest amount of gymnasts chosen to represent Scotland for the British final. Garioch are also very proud to have had three of the four team members in the top Grade. Megan Wright (17) from Stonehaven, Erin Fraser (13) from Inverurie and Daisy Wilcocks (15) from Leslie were part of the Naional Grade One Team.

Leandra Gray(13) from Turriff and Leah Reid (11) from Kemnay competed well for their team at National Grade 2. Emily Morrison (12) from Kemnay was travelling reserve for the National Grade Four Team. All the girls competed well and gained valuable experience representing Scotland at this national event.

Whilst the Scottish team did not finish amongst the medals the Garioch club are very proud of the team and the part the Garioch Glitter Girls paid in it. The girls were accompanied by Garioch coach, Emily Bull.
