Young Garioch gymnasts shine in Dunfermline

Garioch Gymnastics Club kicked off the 2015 competition year in glittering style on Saturday, (February 7), at the U10 Development Competition in Dunfermline.

Six young Garioch gymnasts, most of them at their first four piece competition – Vault, Floor, Bars and Beam, bringing 10 medals home to the Garioch. These gymnasts are part of Garioch’s very successful competitive programme however, the club also has on offer an extensive participation programme for boys & girls aged 2+.

Garioch gymnastics club train at the Garioch Community Centre in Inverurie. In conjunction with Aberdeenshire Council, they offer a quality pre-school and recreational gymnastics coaching programme at various venues in Inverurie and the surrounding area.

Recreational gymnastics classes are led by British Governing Body qualified and very experienced coaches, who are all PVG checked, in Inverurie, Insch, Kintore, Oldmeldrum, Ellon and Kemnay with pre-school classes in Inverurie and Insch.

9 Year Olds:

Milly Ironside: Fourth Overall, Bronze Floor, Fifth Beam; Eilidh Gault: Bronze Vault, Bronze Bars;

Grace Mackie: Sixth Floor
