If you want to get into the Christmas spirit early, then head for Haddo House this weekend.

The National trust for Scotland property will be hosting a Christmas craft fair on Saturday and Sunday.

With the festive treats of mince pies and mulled wine available on the day, visitors can browse the many different gifts available for family and friends.

A large selection of handmade products including jewellery, toiletries, confectionary and woodwork will be on offer, ensuring there is something for everyone.

Why not make a day of it by visiting the tearoom, which will be serving lunches and refreshments all day?. Don’t forget to pop into the gift shop for some last-minute bargains.

Senior assistant of functions and events at Haddo House, Irene Biedma, said: “The Haddo House Christmas Craft Fair is a great opportunity to get your shopping off to a flying start.

“With so many lovely handcrafted gifts available, the real challenge will be not buying a treat for yourself.”

The event runs on from 10am until 4pm on both days. Entry is £3 for an adult and free for children under 12.
