Aberdeen Performing Arts are looked forward to unveiling their latest season of tremendously popular tours of His Majesty’s Theatre in the city.
A draw for local groups and organisations, as well as visitors, the latest 75-minute-long Saturday 10.30am tours are to be held on May 17 and 24, and June 7, 21 and 28.
Visitors will be guided by volunteers through His Majesty’s modern £7.8 million extension as well as the 105-year-old original building, designed by the legendary theatre architect Frank Matcham.
New and old sections of the city centre landmark will be explored, providing an opportunity to get onstage and see HMT from the eyes of a performer in one of the most beautiful theatres in Scotland.
Learn the inner workings of a busy theatre –and pick up some inside knowledge of its spooky past as you go backstage.
Tours costs £5 (£3 concession) and can be booked through Aberdeen Box Office online at aberdeenperformingarts.com, at the Music Hall or His Majesty’s Theatre or by calling 01224 641122.
