The Beaton Hall committee in Methlick are making final preparations for their annual Burns Supper which takes place on Saturday, January 25 at 6.45pm for 7.15pm.
There will be recitals from Methlick School children who have each taken part in and been awarded a 1st, 2nd or 3rd place in their year group in the annual school Burns competition.
After a rendition of the Selkirk Grace from Colin Presly, the Chef, George Fowler will be piped in with the haggis by David Fraser who will pipe for the dancers later in the proceedings.
Colin Gallacher will perform the Address to the Haggis before the traditional fare of haggis, mince, neeps and tatties followed by trifle or jelly.
George Ross will provide the Immortal memory.
Paul Winterbottom will then make the customary Toast to the Lassies whose response will be given by the very able Alison Hepburn. The fun continues with a raffle and the singing of Auld Lang Syne by all.
