Hear a former Aberdeen Football Club manager while you help raise money for a local village next month.
Collieston Pier Group will be holding a black tie event in March at the Marcliffe Hotel and Spa.
The fundraiser will be held on Wednesday, March 12.
Sponsorship has been provided by Marcliffe owner, Stewart Spence, who has very close links with Collieston, as well as support from Ian Donald, former Aberdeen Football Club chairman, who lives in the village.
Guest speaker will be former Scotland and Aberdeen Football Club manager, Craig Brown.
Prizes are still be being finalised for the auction and raffle but people can expect some very attractive items already.
Items include two rounds of golf at Trump International, partnered with dinner bed and breakfast at the Marcliffe.
If that doesn’t take your fancy how about a bespoke private tour of The Macallan distillery, including a tutored tasting and nosing session?
Another interesting item will be an original painting by well known Collieston artist Paul Ritchie, son of the late Rear Admiral Steve Ritchie, who was a great champion of the pier. T
