Classical singer Russell Watson is to perform at His Majesty’s Theatre for a spectacular one-off charity concert this summer.
The Lancashire-born tenor will visit Aberdeen for the performance on Thursday, August 21. He will be accompanied by the Aberdeen Sinfonietta.
Sponsored by BP, the event is being organised by the Lord Provost’s Charitable Trust, with all proceeds going to its chosen beneficiary, Scottish social care charity Cornerstone.
All the money raised on the night will help adults, young people and children across Scotland who have learning disabilities, physical disabilities, mental health problems and other support needs who are supported by the charity.
Tickets for the concert are on sale now and are priced from £40 including booking fee, online at www.aberdeenperformingarts.com, by calling on 01224 641122 and at Aberdeen Box Office at the Music Hall, and His Majesty’s Theatre.
