If you live in or near Pitmedden and enjoy singing, why not go along and join in the Pitmedden Festival Chorus.
This informal day takes place in the Pitmedden Public Hall on Saturday, May 10, and is open to anyone who enjoys singing and wants to join in a day of fun.
The chorus day is being held to celebrate the Pitmedden Community Music Festival which takes place this summer and is a not-for-profit family event offering live music of all types in Pitmedden Garden.
Festival director, Angela Stemp, said: “The Festival Chorus day promises to be a great deal of fun and is open to anyone who fancies joining in a choir. No experience is required, just an enthusiastic attitude.
“The chorus day is free to join in and is the ideal warm-up to the Pitmedden Music Festival which takes place in June. The festival offers an exciting line-up of eclectic music and family friendly workshops for young people.”
Choir director for the Pitmedden Festival Chorus, Jen Bailey, said: “I’m keen to see people of all ages and backgrounds come along to the Pitmedden Festival Chorus day.
“You don’t need to have sung publicly before. It’s all about getting together, trying some harmonies and having a big sing.”
