Visions - Haddo Arts Festival 2016 launched this week at the Terrace Room at Haddo House.

An exciting line-up of acts are due to appear during the festival that will be held from October 1 to 8.

The opening concert will be produced by the Haddo House Choral & Operatic Society and this year it will feature the Mozart Requiem, conducted by Alice Dennis in her last concert as HHCOS Artistic Director.

Well known Scottish tenor and host of radio show ‘Classics Unwrapped’, Jamie Macougall, will sing some of his favourite songs and arias on Sunday, October 2.

The festival will also feature Pete Stollery, acclaimed north east author Stuart MacBride, North East Scotland Music School, Myrtle Throgmorton (AKA Jennie Chalmers), Australian concert pianist Piers Lane and Scottish Opera.

Organisers are currently looking for volunteers to help during the festival.
