This year’s Buchan Vintage Tractor Road Run will be held next month.

The annual fundraising run will take place on Sunday, April 24, leaving Fetterangus Hall at 10am prompt.

After leaving Fetterangus, the vintage tractor run will pass through Old Deer before stopping in Stuartfield, carrying onto Clola, Bogbrae, Auquharney and will stop in Hatton Hall for lunch.

Following the much needed break, the run will continue on to Aidie Stoneyhill, Savoch Quarry and Kinmundy School and will stop again at Longside Football Club.

Once the brief break is over the run will move on to Auchlea, Backhill, and then back to Fetterangus.

This year the Vintage Tractor Road Run will be held in aid of two local charities.

They are the Pancreatic and Bowel Cancer (H.B.P) Aberdeen Royal Infirmary, and the Saltoun Surgery Equipment Fund, Fraserburgh.

Current event organisers Douglas and Jean Nicol, along with Gordon, Dorothy, Lorna and George, have been in charge of the event for over 12 years and in this time the event has raised over £83,000 for a number of local causes.

Last year’s event was held in aid of the Summer Ward at Peterhead Community Hospital and £4,000 was raised.

Past donations have gone to Peterhead Renal Unit and Willowbank.

Everyone is welcome to go along to watch the run and show their support.
