BrewDog submits plans for new brewhouse in Ellon

Ellon-based brewery company BrewDog has submitted plans to Aberdeenshire Council for a new brewhouse.

If approved the plans would see new a brewhouse and loading bay built on the space between the firm’s current fermentation area and the existing Powerjacks building, that will soon be transformed into a ‘Beer Hotel’.

The application states: “This proposal would improve the efficiency between the adjacent facilities and also combine all Brewhouses to the same side of the public road.”

It adds that noise and odour levels would be “equal or to a lesser standard” than the existing brewhouses.
