Colin, 22, previously attended Ellon Academy and has always had a desire to study health and fitness.
After achieving an HND in health and fitness at the North East Scotland College, Colin was able to join the third year class at RGU to achieve his degree.
Colin graduated on Thursday, July 16 at His Majesty’s Theatre in Aberdeen.
He said: “I am absolutely delighted to have graduated from RGU. This is an achievement so many people can be proud of including my family, lecturers and university staff who have helped me develop my skills along the way.”
As a toddler, Colin was diagnosed with autistic spectrum disorder (ASD), but he feels that he can use his disability as a way to help others.
He said: “The course has enabled me to learn how to work with my disability and I believe my passion for fitness will enable me to prosper in my career.”
Colin now plans to put his skills to good use and work as a fitness professional.
