Ellon Community Council has urged local businesses to get involved as it gets ready to stage a rerun of its highly successful Easter Egg and Easter bonnet decorating competition.
Official entry forms for the competition, which is open to people of all ages, will be on sale at the Community Centre every Saturday morning from 8.30 am until noon from 10th until the 31st March.
The Community Council is hoping that local traders will once again join in the fun and decorate either a bonnet or an egg to put on display in their windows to help give everyone inspiration.
The Community Council hopes to surpass the quantity of beautiful entries ranging from pre-school through to senior citizens which were submitted last year.
Judging is set to take place on Easter Saturday, which falls this year on 7th April. Tasty Easter goodies will be on offer as prizes.
All proceeds from this year’s competition will go towards the Ellon Community Council Christmas Lights Fund.
