Anam Chara is a new counselling service offering a wide range of services to indivuduals, couples and groups.
The service is run by directors, Caitriona O’Boyle and Michael Downie who bring with them a wealth of expertise. Caitriona previously worked in the family service and entered into counselling to improve her range of skills, while Michael has a background in family support and mental health support.
Meaning ‘Soul Friend’, Anam Chara meets the individual needs of its clients by providing flexible appointment times in a relaxed environment, and the first session is free.
Co-director, Caitriona O’Boyle says: “We offer a free initial consultation to allow you to establish whether counselling is for you. Counselling can offer a very positive way of making changes in your life and moving forward into a better future.”
Clients can benefit with help on issues such as drug and alcohol abuse, relationships, depression, anxiety or self esteem.
Michael Downie, who is also a director said: “Here at Anam Chara, we offer a warm, friendly, supportive evironment in which our clients can feel safe and relaxed.”
