Pitmedden Duck Race set to return

The annual Pitmedden Duck Race will be held on Saturday, May 6.

Organised by FoPS (Friends of Pitmedden School), with support from staff and pupils at Pitmedden School, local businesses and the community, races will start at 1pm in the Bronie Burn with the exciting race finale just before 3pm.

There will be games and fun activities such as Beat the Goalie, Lucky Lollipops, Chocolate Tombolo’s, Angry Bird Tombolo, Hairspray and Face Paint stand, Hook the Duck and much more too.

Refreshments will also be available with homemade soup, hotdogs and hot & cold drinks along with a sweetie tuck shop.

The Annual Pitmedden Duck Race is also being supported by Pitmedden Bowling Club and Udny Tennis Club.

Both facilities will be opening their doors welcoming people to pop in and have a taster on the courts and greens.

Ducks are only £1 and available from any Parent Council Member, Pitmedden School and the local Pitmedden Co-op.

You would be quacking not to waddle along to this amazing community fun event at Bronie Burn!
