Castle Fraser is to become an action packed scene full of gladiators and chariots when the Rumbling Romans and Wicked Warriors arrive this weekend.
The grounds will be packed with activities for visitors of all ages to enjoy, including chariot racing, gladiator battles, longbow archery and jestering.
There will be the opportunity to learn about the Roman occupation in Scotland from the Rhynie Wifies and their warrior school. As well as the chance to see the bird of prey displays.
The Devil’s Horsemen will arrive from the set of Game of Thrones to demonstrate their trick-riding and chariot racing skills.
Catriona Skene, events manager for Castle Fraser, said: “We are delighted to be holding the Rumbling Romans and Wicked Warriors event again this year.”
There will plenty of stalls around the grounds providing refreshments.
The events will last between 11am and 4.30pm on both Saturday and Sunday.
