Tickets are now on sale for the second show of the season in New Deer Public Hall later this month.
Me, Myself & Miss Gibbs by Francesca Millican-Slater is a one woman show which received excellent reviews at the Edinburgh Fringe last year.
In 2003, Francesca Millican-Slater bought a second hand postcard for 50p in a knick-knack shop in Devon.
The postcard, sent from Lincoln to London, was addressed to a Miss L Gibbs of 62 Douglas Buildings, Marshalsea Road. Sent on July 15th 1910, the message on the back reads: ‘Be Careful Tomorrow. A.C.’
Promoter Sue Robertson said: “In Me, Myself and Miss Gibbs Francesca takes the audience with her on this intricate, fascinating journey, gently questioning how we remember those that went before us and how we might like to be remembered ourselves.
“Her compelling writing style and humorous presence makes this an engaging and highly enjoyable one-woman show that offers something for everyone.”
Tickets priced at £10 and £8 concession are available from from Chemist and Food for Thought, New Deer, 01771 644217/644366 or on line www.neatshows.org.uk
The show will be on Tuesday, September 25, at 7.30pm.
