ELVIS fans in Ellon are in for a rare treat next month, when master Elvis performer Paul Thorpe comes to town in aid of GlenYthan Badminton Club’s junior coaching team.

The evening of entertainment, which takes place on Saturday, October 6 at the New Inn, promises to be a fun-filled evening.

Spokesman Eddie Middleton told the Times: “Paul’s show is not tongue in cheek. There is no silly wig or stick-on sideburns and definitely no big fat belly squeezed into a white boiler-suit. Paul entertains from the curtain to the encore - all of the greatest hits, delivered with style and watched in awe.

“Elvis IS dead and he isn’t down at Jax chip shop, but if you still love him don’t miss this show!”

The Junior club has gone from strength to strength since its inception, and is almost at full capacity already. The club are still seeking a shirt sponsor for the youngsters, and are keen to hear from anyone interested.

Elvis Tickets are available from the New Inn.
