North-east children’s homes, hospital and youth projects received a special surprise this Easter.
On Easter Sunday over 200 bikers from across Aberdeen and the surrounding area sped along delivering a whopping 2678 Easter eggs thanks to donations from family, friends, supermarkets, companies and the general public.
The Easter Egg Run event also saw £315.54 raised for UCAN. The bikers would like to thank everyone for their generosity and in helping them put a smile on children’s faces this Easter.
Later this month some of the bikers are participating in ‘The Wrang Ride Roon’ - a 1300 mile route around Scotland for four days - in aid of UCAN,
Biker, Michael Gibson said: “Last year the trip started from Aberdeen to Thurso, Isle of Skye, Stranraer and back to Aberdeen - called The Lang Ride Roon and raised in excess of £14,000 - this year the route is to be done in reverse.”
