Tarves Heritage Project volunteers gave a warm welcome to members of Grampian Classic Motorcycle Club when they visited the heritage museum last week.
The bikers met up in Oldmeldrum and then made their way to Tarves.
There was an assortment of motorbikes parked in the village square, including some impressive vintage ones.
Les Donaldson, museum volunteer, gave the club members a talk in the Victorian Schoolroom and then a tour around the museum.
Les said: “Several members were interested in an old photograph that we have in our collection.
“We are keen to discover the make of the motorcycles in the picture, we know that it was taken in Tarves.
“If anyone can help then please get in touch with the museum.”
The evening finished with teas, coffees and home-made pancakes.
