A Bogbank Afternoon Tea was held in Collieston at the weekend to help raise funds for the upkeep of the village’s public toilets.
The event, held on Saturday, April 22, was hailed as a success by the Slains and Collieston Community Council.
The local Community Council decided to start up a community-led scheme to keep the toilets open after Aberdeenshire Council announced they would close them if a solution could not be found.
The event was held at Collieston Community Centre and around £375 was raised.
Those that went along also donated various toilet supplies.
Community Council member, Sally Sheehan, said: “The Bogbank tea was very successful, everyone there was upbeat and positive which is great because we have had to fight to get where we are.”
