Discount chain Aldi is set to deliver another jobs boost for Ellon.
The company has announced it is seeking a further 19 staff - including two managerial - for its town centre store, which opened in September.
Aldi wants to recruit two deputy store managers, two stock assistants and 15 store assistants.
The new supermarket in Ythan Terrace opened its doors on September 25 with 15 staff and a pledge to hire more from the local community.
Aldi area manager David Mason said: “Aldi Ellon currently has a hard-working team of employees and now we are looking for more to add to the store.
“We’re looking to attract applicants from a diverse range of backgrounds, who can demonstrate relevant experience, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.”
Store assistant salaries start from £8.15 per hour rising to £9.40 over two years.
Deputy store manager salaries start from £9.15, rising to £10.40 over two years and with an additional £3.85 per hour for running the store.
The Ellon store has 117 parking spaces and features around 1,350 product lines.
