An Aberdeenshire farm store & coffee shop has beaten off the competition to scoop a prestigious business award.
The Store, based at Foveran, near Ellon, won the ‘Divine Dining’ in the Coffee Shops and Cafes category at the TREND magazine awards dinner on Thursday 9 June, seeing off two other local competitors.
The Store, which is in its tenth year of trading, opened the coffee shop just under a year ago, following the refurbishment of an on-site barn.
The farm and business is managed by Andrew Booth and his wife Debbie, who source all the meat products sold at The Store comes from the family farms.
Managing Director Andrew Booth said “We were delighted to have reached the finals of two categories of the TREND awards this year and winning Divine Dining for the coffee shop is a fantastic achievement for the entire team as they have worked so hard over the last year since opening. This is a great accolade to the company as a whole.”
