The Newburgh Inn is celebrating success after being awarded a Gold Laurel for Services to Charity at the 2017 Scottish Hotel Awards.
Newburgh Inn team member Jenny Hendry was recognised with a Rising Star award, while business owner, Martin Young, was recognised with a ‘Highly Commended’ award in the ‘Hotelier of the Year’ category.
The 11-bedroom, Main Street hotel in Newburgh, also achieved a regional win for ‘Best Hotel Bar Dining’ in the North East region in the 14th annual Scottish Hotel Awards that were held on Sunday, April 23 in Glasgow.
The Newburgh Inn offers a varied menu of traditional pub classics alongside innovative twists on regional favourites using locally-sourced ingredients.
There is also a function room that is available for events and a regular entertainment programme including music and quiz nights brings the local community together.
Hotelier Martin Young, of Restaurants Aberdeen Ltd, said: “Naturally we are delighted to receive continued recognition for the second year running.
