Culsh House Care Home in New Deer recently held a special awards presentation event to celebrate the outstanding achievements of its staff.
The event was organised by home proprietors Mr and Mrs J. Kindness, and took place on May 26.
It was followed by a celebratory afternoon tea party which was also held at the care home.
A number of special guests attended the awards event.
They were Karen Tosh, oral health co-ordinator, NHS Grampian; Emma Williams, NHS Grampian, and Diane Lawson, oral health team leader, Aberdeenshire North, NHS Grampian.
They presented Teresa Robertson, deputy manager at the home, with the Caring for Smiles Foundation Training Course Certificate SCOF Level 5.
Teresa is the oral health champion and promotes the Caring for Smiles programme and training within Culsh House Care Home.
Caring for Smiles certificates were also gained by the following members of staff:
Gwen Duncan, Angela Thom, Maureen Watson, Wendy Crighton, Reanne Murray, Carole Bain, Carolyn Slessor, Gillian Hall, Jenny Baron and Jackie Ellis.

Following the presentations, Mr and Mrs Kindness and Alison Matthew expressed their congratulations to all the staff at the home who have successfully completed training and gained certificates.
Culsh House Care Home is a privately owned care home in the village of New Deer which caters for 23 residents.
It has 19 single rooms and two shared rooms.
