A big Christmas Light Switch On event was held at Trump International at Menie on Saturday, November 25.

The event marked the start of the festive season at the Menie golf course.

The event proved to be a huge success with many families attending to get themselves in the festive spirit.

The youngsters in attendance were delighted to have the opportunity to meet special guest Father Christmas, who switched on the lights with help from Connor Howlett and Kendall Watson.

A firework display was held later on during the event to the delight of those that went along.

A spokesperson for Trump International said: “We were delighted to welcome so many families to our Christmas Lights Switch-On and Santa arrival on Saturday.

“It was a fun afternoon with delicious food, music and fireworks and we appreciate everyone braving the cold weather to share the festivities.”

Santa’s Grotto will be open throughout December but due to popular demand most of the dates are already sold out.

There is limited availability on Wednesday 20 and Thursday 21 from 12 noon to 6pm so contact Trump International as soon as possible to ensure you can book a space.

Each Grotto visit costs £10 per child and will include a goodie bag and commemorative teddy bear.

Up to four children may visit Santa at any one time and a maximum of three adults are allowed to accompany children.
