PEOPLE with bright ideas for future community projects are being urged to come forward at a series of events this month.
The Formartine Community Planning Group, a multi-agency group, is to host a series of engagement forums, where they will hear ideas from the public to shape the priorities for the Formartine area.
The events, taking place across the area, will allow people the chance to air their views and will lead to serious discussion and real action in areas noted.
Local councillors will be in attendance at the event, alongside community planning partners.
Formartine community planning officer Mark Mitchell said: “This is a great opportunity to share issues with elected members and service providers; these discussions are listened to and acted upon, and things do change for the better.”
The ward forums are intended to be informal and are designed to provide an interaction with the community planning group on areas that require attention.
The engagement events take place on the following dates - Wednesday, March 13, at Turriff Academy; Wednesday, March 20, at Ellon Primary School; Wednesday, March 27, at Meldrum Academy.
