Ellon Rotary presented grants to 15 local community groups at the Station Hotel on Wednesday, May 16.

Ellon Academy Library and S6 Library Committee received £400 to deliver “Live Literature” sessions.

A total of £600 was given to Ellon Meadows Boys Football Club 2008 to provide them with 25 football strips.

Ellon & District Men’s Shed received £250 of funding.

Bairnecessities was presented with £900 to help pay for equipment storage.

A massive £1,000 grant was given to Ardallie Football Club to go towards its facility improvements.

The 1st Methlick Scout Group received £750 to purchase new heat resistant aluminium topped catering tables.

Ellon Academy Gardeners received £400 to help them with their new garden.

Ellon Civic Pride was given £900 to ensure it can carry on its work to improve the local environment.

Newburgh Mathers School RotaKids got £200 for library seating.

Ellon Dementia Day Care Centre “The Bothy” was given £540 to purchase furniture for their outdoor garden space.

The Ellon Academy S3 Research & Information Skills Programme received £400 to deliver “Live n’ Learn” mindset workshops.

And £900 was given to Newburgh Gala Committee to help with event rentals.

Ellon Amateur Athletics Club received £1,000 for replacement High Jump mats.

Spikin Autism & More got £1,000 to help them plan for a Summer fete, and Newburgh Netball received £600 for equipment.
