Bikes stolen from shed in Ellon

Officers in Ellon are appealing for information following a shed break-in in the Scotsfir Crescent area of the town.

Access was gained into a shed and three bicycles were stolen sometime between 5pm on Saturday 24th and 7.30am Monday 26th February.

The bikes were later discovered nearby in a wooded area.

PC Liam Cousins from the Formartine Community Policing team said: "Although thankfully the three stolen bikes were recovered, damage was caused to the shed as part of the break in.

"If anyone was in the Scotsfir area of Ellon at the weekend and recalls seeing or hearing anything suspicious I would ask them to get in touch."
