Police investigating a smash and grab at an Ellon jewellers are urging anyone offered a watch to contact them.
Hundreds of pounds worth of watches were stolen during the incident at K & C Jewellers in Bridge Street, in the early hours of Saturday, March 11.
Further damage was caused, totalling a high four-figure sum.
Investigating officer DC Gary Johnston said: “Extensive inquiries are ongoing, however we are still keen to talk to anyone with information which could assist with the investigation, no matter how insignificant you think it might be.
“In particular I would appeal to anyone who may have been offered a watch for sale recently to get in touch as your information could be vital.
